About this experience

"This is Sri Lanka’s only hands-on sea cucumber farming experience, set in the natural beauty of Ariyalai's coastal waters. Unlike other tours, we take you directly into the middle of the sea to visit a real working aquaculture farm — not a museum or demonstration tank. Guests will hold live sea cucumbers, learn directly from experienced farmers, relax in a wooden hut floating above the ocean, and enjoy local Ceylon tea with breathtaking sea views. With guides fluent in English, Tamil, Sinhala, and German, and a warm, authentic local welcome, this is a rare opportunity to connect with Jaffna’s coastal life in a way most travelers never experience."
