Their construction begun in 1358. to protect the Republic of Dubrovnik and the peninsula. You can visit the Walls throughout the year. The walls are 1940 meters long with 6 fortresses (Lovrijenac, Revelin, Minčeta, Bokar, St John and St Lucas). It is a wonderful experience to walk down the Walls of Dubrovnik and must-do thing when visiting Dubrovnik. It’s very popular in last few years because Game of Thrones was filmed there.
