We will take the coastal drive that lead us to the temple of Poseidon, the god of the sea. Our first stop is the cultural center of Niarchos, an amazing building complex which is surrounded by the largest Mediterranean garden and includes the Opera house and the new National Library. We continue our ride admiring some of the venues of the Olympic Games of 2004, as well as the numerous sandy public beaches. Our next stop is the lake of Vouliagmeni, a rare geological phenomenon where the brackish waters of the lake are constantly renewed both from the sea and underground thermal springs. Then we will arrive at Cape Sounio, the southernmost point of Attica and one of the most sacred and mystical places for the Ancient Greeks. Enjoy your guided tour and take the photos of this stunning 2.500 years old marble temple with the blue background of the Aegean. The most delicious way to conclude this full day experience is our optional visit at a traditional Greek taverna by the sea.
