About this experience

During the ride, we will observe small picturesque villages, carefully cultivated fields, and flowering meadows. We will visit the Hidden Beauty, as the locals call Lake Bukovniško jezero.

We will drink water from the mythological spring of St. Vid and we will make a stop at the Energy Healing Points. We will get to know local ham producers with a stunning ham gallery. We will walk around Murska Sobota, take a photo on the Victory Square in front of the monumental War memorial to the Red Army, which liberated Prekmurje in 1945 from German occupation.

Along the Pannonian plain, we will head towards Lake Bukovnica, which the locals call the Hidden Beauty due to its location in the middle of dense forests. Along the forest paths, we will walk to the mythological spring of St. Vit and make a stop at energy healing points.

Plečnik’s church in Bogojina is one of the most interesting architectural buildings of the 20th century and the most famous shrine of Pomurje. Church of the Ascension of Christ – Plečnik’s. The guide will introduce you to the interior and exterior of the church and the adventures of the famous architect Jože Plečnik in Prekmurje.

The guide will explain to you the history and facts about the famous war memorial to Red Army, which liberated Prekmurje from the German occupation in 1945.
