This magnificent specimen of "pinus canariensis" with an estimated age of 800 years stands up to 45 meters high and its trunk has a perimeter of 9.4 meters (5 people are needed to "hug it"). From the Vilaflor exit it will take about 5 minutes to arrive.

We have entered what some call the lunar landscape of Tenerife and we are now at 2070 meters above sea level. Approximately 25 minutes since we left from the Mirador de Vilaflor. Different types of volcanic lava give the area an extraterrestrial appearance. We will be able to see both Teide (3715 meters) and Pico Viejo (3135 meters)

Approximately six minutes to arrive from the "Queen's Shoe". This is the iconic place that you will see on many postcards and souvenirs from Tenerife. Spectacular landscape and superb views of the highest mountain in the Atlantic Ocean: Teide. We will have an hour to walk around the surroundings and go up to some of its viewpoints.
We will stop to contemplate impressive views of this 3,135 meter high volcano. Approximately 20 minutes from "Roques García" to reach the Pico Viejo viewpoint.
We will be able to contemplate excellent views of the island of La Gomera and recharge our energy by having a drink at the popular cafeteria near the viewpoint. From there we will return to your hotel, villa or apartment on the highway.
