This exciting tour will take place in the city of Luang Prabang where you will get to see many interesting artifacts and sites. The day is filled with diverse culture and traditions, which you will be fascinated with.
In the morning, the tour will begin with a visit to the infamous Royal Palace Museum. This is where you will see multiple artifacts from the Royal Period. After the stop at the museum, you will continue on to see some of the oldest temples in the area. These temples include the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the amazing shrine of Wat Aham. During a visit to the Art and Ethnology Centre, you will learn a great deal about the culture and history of the diverse ethnic groups in Laos.
In the afternoon, you will climb to the top of Mount Phousi for beautiful panoramic views of the city. This is where you will be able to see the sacred gilded stupa and at the end of the day, you will see the breathtaking sunset over the Mekong River.
After descending the mountain, you will be able to stop at the famous Luang Prabang Night Market to find some unique and handmade textiles and handicrafts that are made by the local Laos people and the hill tribe people that surround Luang Prabang.
