On the Island of Flores is the starting point you can take photographs of Lake Peten Itza and a souvenir of the Yo Amo Peten sign, it is an emblematic point of the Island of Flores
We leave Flores and head to El Remate. It is a tourist place that has Hotels and Restaurants, where there will be a stop (15 minutes) to pick up more tourists, and you can buy snacks and drinks
After the stop at the Remate we continue our tour for approximately one hour and arrive at the Visitor Center where we will find services (bathrooms) and the point to pay for the entrance to the Yaxha Nakun Naranjo National Park. The cost is Q. 80.00 per person. (Guatemala currency in cash)
After we have bought our tickets we drive two more kilometers to reach the parking lot where we will descend from the vehicle and explore the Archaeological Site of Yaxha
