About this experience

Kutaisi two days tour allows you to visit Kutaisi from Tbilisi and visit Kutaisi and its sorroundings in two days. As Kutaisi is far from Tbilisi, 3 hours driving one way, it may be better for you to stay overnight in Kutaisi and have more time for discovering natural undeground caves and historical and architectural monuments of Kutaisi. You can see the stalactites and stalagmites in Sataplia and Prometheus caves, dinosaurs foot prints, walk in the forest reserve. In Kutaisi you can visit historical sightseeing of Kutaisi, Gelati Cathedral, Motsameta monastery, Bagrati temple.

Tour starts from Tbilisi (or from Kutaisi). From Tbilisi to Kutaisi is 240 km and it takes 3 hours to travel from Tbilisi to Kutaisi. First day we visit Sataplia and Prometheus caves. It take from one hour and half to two hours for each place. One hour for lunch. Next day we visit historical sites of Kutaisi and return back to Tbilisi.

Please note that Sataplia Park may be closed in Winter due to snow.
