About this experience

This magnificent waterfall, one of the tallest in the region, cascades crystal-clear glacial water from a height of 70 meters into its basin. The scenic path to Materuni Waterfall, situated 2500 meters above sea level, winds through valleys and hills shrouded in tropical rainforest, alongside coffee, banana, and avocado "shambas"—the Kiswahili term for farms.

After enjoying a local lunch, you will depart for the Chemka Hot Springs.

We will pick you up from Materuni post-lunch and transport you to the Chemka Hot Springs.

The journey to the Hot Springs is on a very bumpy and winding road, making the drive last over 40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Hot Springs, you have the opportunity to swim, unwind, have your lunch, and bask in the sunshine. Should you wish, we can prepare a barbecue for you while you swim.
For groups booking this tour with more than 10 participants, a reasonable discount is offered per group.
