About this experience

Combining 2 in 1, this tour is perfect for those visiting Mykonos as part of their cruise. Once you disembark, the local SeaBus welcomes and introduces you to the first coastal views of the picturesque Mykonos island. Soon, the torch is picked up by the Delos ferry, indicating the beggining of a once in a lifetime journey back in time with final destination: the island of Delos, the most famous and sacred of all islands in antiquity. A half-hour boat trip takes you to the historical Delos sanctuary, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, Unesco's world heritage. Your guide shows you the ancient temples, mosaic floor villas, the Naxian Lions, the Roman amphitheater and more. This shared tour takes 5-hours overall and you are able to choose from one of two departure times when you book.

Stop 1

This 5-hour tour begins with a 10-minute SeaBus ride from the New port of Mykonos (Cruise Ship Terminal), providing exclusive access into the pedestrian zone of the Old town of Mykonos. This is followed by a boat ride from Mykonos to Delos, lasting 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at Delos, you will be introduced to the ancient and sacred site. With your guide, you will explore the narrow city streets and indulge in a magical journey back in time.

Marvel at the impressive house of Dionysus and the exceptional mosaics, well-preserved marble columns, and wall paintings. See other monuments in the urban area, including the Theater of Delos.

Take a walk along the main street to the market and the sanctuary zone. Here you’ll find the Stoa of Phillipe, the Propylaia, the Colossus of the Naxians, and the Temple of Apollo.

The booking voucher doesn't guarantee boarding the boat nor entrance to the archaeological site. Please make sure you arrive at the Delos Tours kiosk in the Old Port 60-30 minutes before departure time to check in and receive your boat ticket. Entrance fees to the Archaeological Site & the Museum are not included and need to be paid at the Delos Tours kiosk upon check in, in cash only. You will receive your ticket to the archaeological site when you arrive in Delos.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The minimum number of participants required for the tour to take place is 8. In the unlikely case that the tour is cancelled because of low participation we will inform you accordingly so you can re-schedule or arrange for a refund

All boats are wheelchair accessible, yet wheelchair access is limited when it comes to rugged outdoor parts of the site.
You have 3 hours on the archaeological island of Delos. The remaining hours are allotted for the travel time.

Meeting point

As soon as you disembark from your cruise ship, meet us at the SeaBus ticket office at the cruise port of Tourlos (New Port), at least 45 minutes before your departure time to Delos. Our Operation manager will arrange your transportation to the Old port (Delos pier).
