From the pick up point we travel by car to Stock Ghyll Force. A short walk from Ambleside offers an opportunity to visit a 70 foot waterfall. The perfect place to stretch your legs and take some pictures.

We leave Stock Ghyll Force and travel by car on a mixture of country roads towards Cathedral Quarry.
Cathedral Quarry is a man-made quarry, more spectacular than pictures alone can convey, with its wonderful echo. One of the tunnels is over 100m (110 yards) long and requires a torch to see.
