About this experience

Wadi Shab is a famous Wadis/outdoor attraction in Oman. The main attraction of the wadi shab is the waterfall in the cave, which you can reach after a roughly 40 mins hike and swimming in 2-3 pools. People love going to this wadi as it is not very far from Muscat. The pools are always full of clear blue water!

Detailed itinerary

Pick up from the hotel lobby or anywhere in Muscat area. Then will drive around 2 hours from Muscat to Wadi Shab.

Stop 2

The Wadi Shab is a huge canyon gorge that has its own paradise. Filled with palm trees and other greenery, the mountain truly has character. We leave Muscat in the morning and make our way to the wadi. The water is crystal clear, it is amazing to swim through. Moving forward we end up at the last pool where we get to make our way through the canyon& cave. Fitting through crevices and openings till we are blessed with a small waterfall that breaks into a cool blue color. It is paradise.

*If you don’t want to swim, you can stay near the first pools where the water is shallow. Bring sun protection, hat, good walking shoes, swimwear extra clothes & towel (if you like) and snacks. Tour involves some challenging hiking*

We make a short stop at the Bimah sinkhole where most like to take photos or swim in the lake.

White Sand Beach
We make our way through Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop sit and relax.

After an adventurous day of hiking and swimming, we will depart from the site and enjoy a scenic two-hour drive back to Muscat.
