Sea kayaking offers a different way to experience the coastline—slower, more intentional, and deeply connected to nature. It’s not just a physical activity; it’s a form of active meditation. As you paddle gently across the water, you begin to see the shoreline from a whole new perspective—intimate, raw, and full of hidden beauty. You’re able to access remote spots, explore untouched coves, and witness marine life up close. It’s a chance to disconnect from noise and routine, and instead, tune in to the rhythm of the sea. If you're looking for something beyond the usual, this is your way to truly get to know Syvota's coastline.
Our first stop is the small island of Mourtemeno, also known as Goat Island. We’ll paddle around its coastline and discover a beautiful hidden sea cave and some unique rock formations.
We’ll take a short break on a quiet beach to relax, have a snack, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. If we’re lucky, we might even spot a few wild goats that live on the island!
Bella Vraka is one of the most iconic beaches in Syvota, known for its unique setting and natural beauty. Connected to the mainland by a narrow sandy path, this beach gives visitors the rare opportunity to literally walk through shallow, clear water to reach the islet of Mourtemeno. Surrounded by lush greenery and turquoise waters, it's the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing in a postcard-perfect landscape. During our visit, you’ll have time to enjoy the calm waters and take stunning photos in one of Syvota’s most famous spots.
Accessible only by boat or kayak, Pisina Beach—often called the “Blue Lagoon”—is a small, secluded paradise nestled between lush green islets. Travelers will be amazed by the crystal-clear turquoise waters and white pebbled shore, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing under the sun. During your stop here, guests can take a refreshing swim in the calm, sheltered bay, explore the underwater world with a snorkel, or enjoy the serene natural beauty of this unspoiled gem. This is one of the most iconic and photogenic spots in the Ionian Sea.
