About this experience

In this private evening tour, you will have the chance to enjoy the amazing night lights of Shanghai City.  Besides visiting Old Shanghai Town, Xin Tian Di, Lujiazui commercial area and some 100 years old buildings in the city, you will also take the evening VIP Class cruise on the Hungpu River.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Your private 3 hours tour will start at 7 PM. You will be picked up from your hotel lobby and sent to the Old Shanghai Town. You will take a short walk there to see the famous Nine-Zigzag Bridge and surrounding buildings. If the weather nice you will see the beautiful contrasts between the old and new buildings from the two sides of Huangpu River.

After the walk, take the evening cruise on the Hungpu River. You will have VIP class tickets which offer the best view of the famous colonial-era buildings alongside the Bund including the Peace Hotel with its unique pyramid roof in blazing green and the Customs House with its large clock tower and modern towers on Pudong Side such as Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower and Bottle Opener.

Stop 3

After the cruise experience, you will be transferred to Pudong Lujiazui Commercial and Business Area, which is the newly developed part of Shanghai city since 1990. You will surprise how the Chinese people make so many big buildings in 20 years.

Stop 4

At last, you will see the former French Concession at Xin Tian Di where the old fashion architecture style of Shanghai stone gate neighbors with the newly renovated nightlife district with many boutiques, pubs and restaurants. Here you can spend time on your own or continue back to your hotel with your tour guide.
