About this experience
This 2-day Delphi and Meteora tour provides an up-close look at Ancient Greece. Following a knowledgeable guide through the UNESCO-listed site of Delphi, discover the Sanctuary of Apollo and the rest of the area's rich history, departing from Athens. Then, after passing through the picturesque towns of Amphissa, Lamia, and Trikala, spend the night in 3- or 4-star accommodations in Kalambaka. On Day Two, finish your journey with a visit to Meteora's famous monasteries, which were once a safe haven for monks fleeing the fall of the Roman Empire and of course the famous battlefield of Thermopyle.
