About this experience

Get introduced to the major city sights, evoke the glorious past times of the Republic of Dubrovnik and, at the same time, experience the real heartbeat of less than 1000 locals that still live within the City Walls.
This small place, known for its diplomacy, commerce and shipbuilding, was a well-organized city. Almost every aspect of the social life was regulated already in the 14th c. Water supplying and sewage system, health service and garbage disposal service were organized and regulated.
At the same time, peek into the hidden corners, in narrow and steep streets, where you will discover a real life of a small community that still lives in the UNESCO site in ancient homes, struggling with stairs and crowds, coping with strict conserving regulations and demands of tourism, balancing between the history and modern life.
