Detailed itinerary

We meet you at the Airport in Bucharest and take you to your Hotel. We’ll choose for this year a smaller hotel, not so crowded. Or, if you are ok with this, we can choose for you an apartment only for you and your group, in a centrally located area. After you accommodate, we’ll have a walking tour in Bucharest for 3-4 hours to mark the main sites of the Capital. You learn about Bucharest and Romania’s history. A special part of the walking tour in Bucharest will be related on the communist past of Romania and how it affected our country and city. So, you’ll enjoy a communist tour of Bucharest as well. We’ll recommend you good places to enjoy dinner in the evening.

Next day, in the morning, we drive to Tulcea where we leave the car. From there, we take a transfer boat to reach the heart of the Danube Delta in Crisan Village which will be our base for the next 3 days. We have a delicious traditional lunch and rest a bit. In the afternoon we go to have our first boat ride to admire a fabulous sunset on the lakes. Great photo opportunity ! After sunset we are back in our village.

Next day, after breakfast, we are ready for our second Boat Ride to explore more of the fantastic Danube Delta. This trip will be longer, around 6 hours, but will give us the opportunity to understand better this amazing place, which is unique in Europe. After enjoying the wonders of the Delta, we will return to the village and enjoy another delicious meal. The rest of the day will be for relaxing.

On the 3rd day, you’ll enjoy the Black Sea at Sulina Town. It is the end of the Danube River where it flows into the Black Sea. On the way to Sulina, we’ll explore Letea Subtropical Forest and discover the remote village of Letea. You will have time to enjoy the wild beach at Sulina and in the afternoon we go back to Crisan Village where we’ll enjoy the dinner.
