1. Le Jardin du Roi / Spice Garden
The Jardin du Roi spice garden is in the south of Mahe, continues the French tradition of the spice trade from the 18th century.
With its location in the hills of Les Canelles and between the valleys, the garden features rows of vanilla beans, citronelle, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and other spices.
You will also find medicinal plants and indigenous plants that will make you appreciate a perfect nature.
You can have a tour of the garden, take photos of all the Seychelles endemic spices and plants, lunch is possible in the house garden Restaurant if required (optional).
2. Domaine de Val des Pres / Pomme Cannelle – Craft Village
You will be immersed in the world of Seychelles crafts. Only local artists are at home there; it is a small village.
3. Takamaka Rum Distillery, La Plaine St Andre
You simply must try this local rum. They will also show you how it is made and take you on a nice tour.
4. Anse Royale Beach
A very long, beautiful wide beach in the south-east of Mahé. A perfect spot for snorkeling. There are also several restaurants on the beach.
