Discover the American memorial Escadrille Lafayette.
The E.Trott will take you on a half-day tour of cycle paths, small streets and forest tracks (approx. 18 miles). JB, your guide, will always be present. He'll be on hand to take photos and provide a Go Pro. A refreshment break will be provided.

Discover the history of this Memorial which celebrates the memory of the American volunteer pilots who gave their lives during the First World War, under French uniform, before the United States entered the war. Indeed, the Escadrille La Fayette was created on April 20, 1916, a year before the U.S. Congress declared war on April 6, 1917.

At the end of a forest path, you will discover this memorial located on the heights of Versailles. It was erected as a tribute to the American army that fought in the First World War and to the army of the American War of Independence. 2 great men face each other : General Pershing and General Lafayette.
