Stop 1

If you are only in Rome for a short time, or if you have a very busy schedule, but you don't want to miss out on the Colosseum, this is the perfect tour. You will join a small group with your guide and go around and inside the Colosseum as you learn all about Ancient Rome and the gladiator games that took place in the famous arena.
At only an hour and a half, you will get a full Colosseum experience and still be done in time to get to your next site, and have more time to explore Rome and eat pasta!

Meeting point

Meet at the Roman Vacations office on Via dei Santi Quattro, 81 Roma RM 00184.. Look for the orange Roman Vacations sign with the lion head on it.

Important notes

You will show this ticket upon arrival to the meeting point. Once with your small group, your professional tour guide will have the official entry tickets for every person within the group and you will all enter together.

Please check-in at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Tours will depart promptly at the scheduled time, and no refunds will be given for late arrivals or missed tours.

Proof of identification may be required, so please bring a valid form of photo ID for each guest.

Tours will proceed in all weather conditions, unless the site is closed by authorities for safety reasons. It is highly recommended to bring bottled water, sunscreen, hat, and umbrella.

There will be a security check upon entering the Colosseum. Any weapons, sharp objects, glass or aerosol containers will be confiscated, so please do not bring these items to the tour.
