Stop 1

Travelling down 100km to the Southern of Hanoi, Hoa Lu ancient capital and Tam Coc Eco tourism are two of the most visited attractions in Ninh Binh Province.
Hoa Lu ancient capital: In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the King. Since then Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41 years (968 – 1009)of which 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty – King Dinh Tien Hoang, the country named Dai Co Viet, and 29 years later was under the Le dynasty – King Le Dai Hanh. In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long – present day Ha Noi. Hoa Lu became the old citadel. In Hoa Lu there are now 2 temples have been built on the ground of the old royal palace, one is dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, the other is to King Le Dai Hanh. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.

Stop 2

Visit Tam Coc eco tourism: Taking small boat along the Ngo Dong river around two hours to visit Tam Coc. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, Tam Coc are three limestone caves. The boat trip is a nice journey along the river with peaceful scenery of limestone mountains, rice paddy and the site of some temples along the way from Hang Ca (first cave) to Hang Hai (second cave) and Hang Ba (third cave).

After boat trip along the romantic river of Tam Coc, You will have a chance to explore around Tam Coc Village with bicycle, visit Thai Vi temple which located in the middle of the Paddy-Field, one of the best way to discover daily life of the local people.

4:00 PM the tour will be the end and it takes about 2 hours to driving back Hanoi.

Mua Cave(Hang Mua in Vietnamese) is one of the place you must try to go when you are plan a day trip to Ninh Binh.
You will following the path leading to the foot of the Lying Dragon mountain and climb nearly 500 stairs to the top of the mountain to explore Vitual tower. From the top of the mountain, all of the view such as Ninh Binh city, Ngo Dong river, Lotus ponds, rice fields...will be closed in your camera lens.
The ramp up to the stand in Mua cave is quite steep, it takes about 45 minutes to 60 minutes depending on your strength.

Bai Dinh Pagoda is a famous spiritual scenic complex in the Bai Dinh – Trang An ecotourism spot with a history of more than 1000 years associated with the land of many feudal dynasties from the Dinh, the Early Le to the Ly. Nestled at the western of the ancient capital Hoa Lu, belonging to Gia Sinh Commune, its near by Trang An ecotourism, Hoa Lu ancient capital and Mua cave, the complex covers a total area of 539 hectares, with both the ancient Bai Dinh Pagoda and the new Bai Dinh Pagoda. Considered as the largest complex of Buddhist pagodas in Vietnam as well as owner to many other records of country, South East Asia and Asia, this is definitely an indispensable destination in your handbook where to go.

Trang An is known as Halong Bay on land. The spectacular landscape is dominated by towering limestone mountains covered with tropical plants, rivers and hidden temples and pagodas. Trang An is the only place in Vietnam which is both a natural and cultural UNESCO heritage site
