Located on the banks of the Red River, Bat Trang Ceramic Village belong to Gia Lam district, about 13km from the centre of Hanoi. This is the oldest and most famous pottery village in Vietnam, attracting the attention of many domestic and foreign tourists.
This village was formed in the Ly dynasty. Over the past 500 years of history with the ups and downs of the same time. But the name Bat Trang still exists and growing up until now.
