About this experience

On this tour we will visit the beautiful canton of Quepos Puntarenas. We will start our tour hiking along the mountains that border the Pacific coast. From the mountains we will see the different turquoise and blue tones of the great Costa Rican Pacific coast. We will visit a variety of hidden beaches where we can relax and enjoy the natural beauty. You can expect to encounter some native species of the area such as limpets, white-faced monkeys, among others in their natural habitat.

Beaches to visit during our walk: La Macha, La Vaca, Tulemar, Los Altos, and Biezans.

Detailed itinerary

Itinerary:

5:30 a.m.:
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel or meeting point.

7:30 a.m.:
We will arrive at our special restaurant to have breakfast. The place is very nice and typical, they cook with firewood.

9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.:
We will start our tour bordering the coast looking at some exuberant landscapes in the middle of mountains of a tropical forest. During our journey we will visit hidden beaches and we could hopefully look at some animals such as monkeys, limpets among others. Beaches to visit during our walk: La Macha, La Vaca, Tulemar, Los Altos, and Biezans.

12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m.:
We finish our walk in a hidden beach to have a delicious snack and we will have free time to enjoy the beautiful beach.

2 p.m.:
We will leave the beach and go to the Marina Pez Vela in Quepos to have our typical lunch in front of the sea.

3:30 p.m.:
We start our return to San José.
