On this hike we will travel through the area of Valverde Vega in Alajuela, and to Bajos del Toro to visit an area which is recognized for its stunning waterfalls.

5:30 a.m.:
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel or meeting point.
7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.:
You will arrive at the starting point where you will have a typical Costa Rican breakfast close to Bajos del Toro.
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.:
You will start the hike to Bajos del Toro that means “low bull,” where you will take your first views of these hidden gems. During the hike to the waterfalls, you will have some healthy snacks. It should takes approximately 2 hours each. This will depend on several different factors, including; fitness levels, terrain, elevation, weather, and pack weight.
11:00 a.m.:
Upon our arrival, you will have the opportunity to swim in one of the waterfalls! Free time on your own.
1:30 - 2pm .:
You will have your lunch in a nice little spot alongside the waterfalls.
2:30 -3 p.m:
We will start the return to the hotel .
During the travel from San Jose to the town of Bajos del Toro we will see sugar cane farms, coffee farms, the main valley views, and if we are lucky with clear skies we can see the back of the Poas Volcano ''the white mountain or Mordor''.
