We will get to know Oaxaca, culture, history, art and gastronomy. Designed for people who enjoy cycling and want to know special places. We carry out our experience with a professional team, we will leave from Oaxaca City by bicycle, visit several places in 2 towns of Oaxaca. The first is 10 km from the city and is the warm town of Santa Maria El Tule where we will know the gastronomy market and we can make a traditional breakfast (option with Food), then visit the majestic millennial tree. The second place 6 km from the Tule is Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, we go to the village dam and if we have time we can know the house - workshop of a leather or leather craftsman and a traditional bread workshop.
Note: Departure and return is by bicycle and from the office or space destined in the city center (35 km round on average). Experience in the use of the bicycle is necessary.
tule tree: Entrance ticket to the Tule Tree.
Breakfast: Traditional breakfast to choose from the available options and a drink.
Hydration: Bottled water during the tour.
We begin our bicycle tour from the office in the center of the city, we travel through part of the city of Oaxaca to join the road that takes us directly to the town of Santa Maria el Tule (10km away). As it is a recreational route, we consider 1 hour of transfer. Recommendation: it is a tour for people who have experience in using bicycles (it is not for learning to ride a bicycle) and a little physical resistance.
We will visit the gastronomic market of Santa Maria el Tule to rest and have breakfast (for the option with Food), then we will visit the ancient tree. At the end we left for Santo Domingo Tomaltepec (6 km or 30 minutes away).
We tour the town of Santo Domingo Tomaltepec to learn about traditional bread and saddlery workshops, we continue to the town's water dam and have some time to rest to enjoy the view. At the end we begin the return to Oaxaca along the same road (Santa Maria el Tule).
At the end of the rest in Santo Tomas Tomaltepec we return to the city of Oaxaca (16 km away), having some stops for rest and hydration if necessary. This return can take us approximately 1.30 to 2 hours.
The meeting place is on Macedonio Alcalá street at # 201 (between Morelos and Murguía streets), this street is also known as the Andador Turístico.
