You must be able to walk at a leisurely pace for approximately 1.5miles (2km) and be able to climb and descend stairs.
An additional surcharge of Mandatory fees of 750MXN per traveler. (Government tax 420MXN, Tulum fee 100MXN and natural reserve 230MXN) is payable in cash on the day of your activity.
Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby or meeting point 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
Roundtrip transportation is available from most centrally located Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen Hotels. You will confirm your exact pickup time with the local tour operator.
If your hotel is outside of coverage, you will be asked to meet the tour at a nearby location.
Hotel pickup from Tulum hotels is not available. Passengers staying at Tulum Hotels must meet the tour at the designated meeting point.
You should bring swimwear, towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent and spending cash for incidentals.
Please note that as of January 2nd, 2025, Mexican federal government has imposed a new additional mandatory tax for all visitors attending Tulum Archeological Site (Mayan Ruins). As a result, a mandatory surcharge of 750MXN pesos per passenger is payable in cash on the day of your activity.
