Our first stop takes us to the historic Thingvellir National Park, the birthplace of Icelandic democracy. Here, you will walk between the continental plates that separate Europe and North America, witness the power of Öxarárfoss waterfall, and marvel at the serene beauty of Iceland’s largest natural lake, Thingvallavatn.
Our second stop brings us to the mesmerizing Geysir geothermal area. Here, you can witness the earth’s incredible power as boiling water and steam erupt from the ground in mesmerizing displays. We will have our camera ready to capture you next to the famous Strokkur geyser which erupts every 4-10 minute
Next, we will stop for lunch at Efstidalur farm which has a wonderful restaurant with food straight from the farm and an Ice cream parlour.
Next, on your Golden Circle Captured adventure, we go to Gullfoss Waterfall, also known as the “Golden Waterfall”. Plunging 32 meters into a rugged canyon, It is one of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders as well as the second most powerful waterfall in the country. You will be able to witness the cascading water from a series of observation decks and trails that wind their way around the falls, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
You will finish your Golden Circle Captured adventure with a hike to Bruarfoss waterfall, a hidden gem located in a lesser-known area of the Golden Circle.
Along our journey, we will pass through the beautiful Golden Circle area. You will see farmland, lava fields and moorlands in this dramatic drive.
