Set off on a full day trip from Hobart and discover Port Arthur Historic Site, Tasman National Park and the Isle of the Dead! Our Grand Port Arthur Tour is suitable for the whole family, with plenty of time to explore at your own pace. Includes a relaxing, scenic cruise on Carnarvon Bay, where you'll be entertained and informed with the 1-hour guided walking tour on the Isle of the Dead. Formerly a convict site this now UNESCO world heritage listed site is bursting with history and today boasts a landscape of natural beauty, scenic ruins and restored buildings. Our driver/guide will be on hand throughout the day to provide additional information about this fascinating site and to ensure your time is well spent. Lunch and refreshments can be purchased on site or you are welcome to bring your own. Join the optional free Remarkable Caves tour and enjoy a visit on our return to Hobart at the Chocolate Foundry.

Travel across the Tasman Bridge into the Coal River Valley then onto the historic town of Richmond. Enjoy a short photo stop at the famous convict built Richmond Bridge.

Explore at your own pace and enjoy complimentary site talks at key locations throughout the day, entry to the Port Arthur Gallery which includes interactive displays, a cruise on Carnarvon Bay and a one hour guided walking tour on the Isle of the Dead.
