Our Alcatraz Ferry and Island Tour PLUS San Francisco Private Group City Tour offers an extraordinary day of discovery! Start your morning with a private tour of San Francisco’s top attractions, including iconic sites like the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting ferry ride to explore the rich history of Alcatraz Island.

How the Alcatraz City Tour Combo Package Works:

City Tour: Choose between a private 2 or 3-hour city tour, starting at 9:00 AM. Ending at 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM.

Alcatraz Ferry Timing: If your Alcatraz ferry departs within 1 hour after the city tour, we'll drop you off at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) 30–60 minutes before.

If your ferry departs more than 1 hour later, you'll be dropped at PIER 39 to relax and eat before walking to Pier 33.

Alcatraz Tour Length:
The Alcatraz tour takes 2–3 hours. You can return to Pier 33 at your own pace. Important: Return transport from Pier 33 is not included; the activity ends there.

1. City Tour Meeting Point:

Arrival Time: 8:55 AM for a 9:00 AM departure.
Tour Duration: A 2-hour tour ending at 11:00 AM or a 3-hour tour ending at 12:00 PM, depending on your booking.
2. End of City Tour & Transition to Alcatraz Ferry
If your ferry departs within 1 hour after the city tour ends:
Your Jeep Tour driver will drop you at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) 30–60 minutes before your ferry departure, allowing time to collect your tickets.
If your ferry departs more than 1 hour after the city tour ends:
You’ll be dropped at PIER 39 to relax, eat, or explore before walking to Pier 33 for the ferry.
Note: Your Jeep Tour guide will not accompany you to Alcatraz. No return transportation is provided from Pier 33 after your Alcatraz tour.
3. Picking Up Alcatraz Tickets
Tickets are held at Will Call at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing).
Important: All guests need a valid ID to match the reservation.
Arrive at Pier 33 at least 30 minutes before your departure to pick up tickets /board the ferry.
4. Alcatraz Tour Experience
Boarding Location: Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing)
The tour ends when you return to Pier 33. Note: No return transportation is provided from Pier 33 to your hotel or other destinations.
6. Important Info
Alcatraz Ferry Time: You will receive your ferry departure time from SF Jeep Tours via email. Departure times typically range from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Change / Cancellation Policy: All sales are final. No changes, cancellations, or refunds. Please plan accordingly.
