We take you on a tour of the best spots in the neighborhood, so you can have authentic SF food, such as Salvadorian pupusas, street tacos and Mexican tamales. As well as some of the most delicious chocolate you're ever tasted.
History: The neighborhood's Misión San Francisco de Asís is the birthplace of SF. We'll give you an overview of the city's history, from the dog days of the Spanish Empire, to being part of Mexico, to the Gold Rush era, through the Great Fire and up to today,
Art: The Mission District is arguably the best neighborhood for public murals. We'll visit the Balmy Alley Mural Project, as well as enjoying amazing street art like the Women's Building.

TRANSPORT / PARKING
There's parking in the area, but it can be hard-to-find and expensive, so please consider taking public transport, it will probably be faster than driving. The tour starts right by the MUNI stop on Church and 16th Streets.
WHERE TO MEET
The guide will be checking-in guests from 15 minutes before the tour outside Elsy's Restaurant, on Mission Street, San Francisco.
Please bring either a paper or electronic copy of this ticket for the guide.
We have an average of 10 guests per guide, so it's very likely there will be other people on this tour. We CANNOT hold for latecomers - it's not fair or professional. There are NO refunds within 48 hours of the tour.
TIPS / GRATUITIES
