While sailing down the Arade River, we pass by 'zona ribeirinha' (riverside front) of Portimão, highlighting all the landmarks and local attractions of the area.

On the way to the open sea, we go down the Arade River passing by some landmarks as Portimão Museum and the Ruins of São Francisco Monastery

Stop 3 Pass by

Still on the Arade River, learn about the history of the ruins of a monastery that was destroyed by the biggest earthquake ever registered in Europe in 1755.

A charming traditional fisherman´s village on the river side remoting back to the beginnings of our history.

Beautiful castle of São João do Arade - learn about its history and importance for the protection of Silves town.

On exiting Arade River to the Ocean, we pass by Portimão Marina, highlighting it´s main attractions.

After exiting the Arade river we start our expedition into the Atlantic Ocean in search of Dolphins, sea birds and any other marine species that often came across our way! Learn about the marine species sighted and the ecosystem from a biologist guide and a very expert captain. Experience the connection with the beautiful marine mammals that swim around the boat and take amazing photos and videos.

This is really a trip for ocean lovers as we sometimes navigate long and far in the open sea to find the Dolphins. Dress up appropriately as a national geographic explorer with a warm windbreaker, and be ready for an unpredictable adventure where nature can often surprise us with its limitless beauty.

Cross the railway line & go straight ahead. You have a car park on the right or, follow the no-exit cobbled street to find another car park on the left. Walk about 30meters to the boarding pier in front of the restaurant. Wait there for a crew member. Restaurant is OPEN to public-Enjoy it.
