The stairs lead up to the Nakas architecture Ordination Hall, where inside is a reclining, over 18 metres in length, Golden Buddha. Also not to be missed is the huge,stunning, golden Kyaiktiyo Pagoda.
Phuket Heritage Trail begins on Phang-Nga Road close to Old Police Station. Along the way we encounter art galleries, cafes, authentic shops. The next sight to explore will be Downtown Fresh Market which is the cheapest place to get a variety of awesome fruits including juicy mangos or exotic sapodilla.
Afterwards heading to Thalang Road where every Sunday is a Street Market with the best goods Old Town is to offer. Local Snacks and Art pieces, all kinds of souvenirs can be found along the Street. Much of the Old Town, especially Thalang Road still has the old shophouses.
We will visit Soi Romanee, which in the past was same amusement area like Bangla Road in Patong nowadays and offers unique colourful sino-portugese Architecture.
Rise above the Town and see Phuket City Viewpoint with myriads of Phuket lights.
