Stop 1

You will be picked up from your hotel by your Egyptologist-Guide who will accompany you on the tour.

Our first stop will be at The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities at Tahrir Square. This is the biggest & most ancient museum in Cairo since 1901. It contains a huge collection of Egyptian artifacts of more than 120,000 pieces.

We will do a tour of its top highlights including part of the collection of the Pharaoh Tutankhamon as some of it had been moved to be restored at the Grand Egyptian Museum awaiting its opening. Also, we will see famous collections like those of Yoya & Thoya. Also we will have a chance to see some of the collection of Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms of Egyptian History.

We will enjoy almost 2 hours at the museum then will go to the vicinity of the Pyramids area where we will have a delicious lunch in a local Egyptian Restaurant to enjoy some of the dishes of the Egyptian cuisine. After lunch, we will head to visit the Pyramids.

Transfer from the Museum to the Pyramids would take around 30min to arrive at the Giza Plateau.

The tour starts with the Great Pyramid of Cheops, which is the only one standing from the 7 wonders of the ancient world. You will know there from your guide all secrets about the Pyramids. We will have a walk around it to see the 3 small pyramids of his family in one of which you can enter with your included main area ticket. (Entry in any of the main pyramids has an extra ticket not included)

We will see also the 2nd pyramid of Chephren which still has part of its upper casing that gives it a remarkable shape. We will drive to a panoramic area to get great pictures of the 3 Pyramids in one shot, also if you may like to ride a camel or a horse in the desert can be arranged there.
