Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights) is a resort city in the Central Mountain range of Sri Lanka. It is at an altitude
of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka.
The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is known for its
temperate, cool climate the coolest area in Sri Lanka.

On the way to Nuwara Eliya, we come across several waterfalls from which we are scheduled to visit the
Ramboda Falls. Along with to way to Nuwara Eliya, we will also visit the Tea Factory and the luscious Tea
Plantations of the country.

Stop 3

Once we reach Nuwara Eliya, first we will be visiting Gregory Lake. This was build in 1873 and is the
most prominent attraction in Nuwara Eliya. Visitors come here to spend some time by the lake and
relax. This place is famous for its water sports activities.
