Saras Bagu temple complex is the ideal place to visit in the morning to get a glimpse of the local life of Pune at its best. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh, the temple is constructed in the middle of a lake and there is a very interesting story behind its construction which we leave for our guide to tell.

The temple is surrounded by a park, that is flocked by morning joggers. You will find people engaging in Yoga & exercise as well apart from praying at the temple.
The small lake around the temple is rich of marine life and one can spot hundreds of large fishes and turtles. The lake is also home to Lotus plants and if you are lucky you can spot Flower blossomings in their natural habitat.

This is the rock-cut cave temple built in 8th century, and apparently one of the oldest temples in Pune. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and entire structure appears to be a Huge Shiv-Ling.
The temple is carved out in Basalt rocks and gives ideal backdrop for clicking amazing pictures
