Stop 2

As you set foot on the gorge’s path, you'll be transported into a world of dramatic cliffs, lush vegetation, and the haunting sound of the wind clapping between the rocks – the very origin of the name "Kourtaliotis," meaning the “clapping sound” in Greek. The path winds through the gorge’s unique ecosystem, where the dense flora and fauna create a serene, yet exhilarating atmosphere. The sounds of rushing waters echo through the canyon as you make your way toward hidden springs and a historic chapel nestled in the cliffs.
