We cross the dunes of the magical desert of Viana, a true monument of sand created by the wind, then following the old picturesque road we descend to the bay of Boa Esperança where the gutted wreck of the merchantman Cabo Santa Maria is located (more than 300 ships sunk around the island, it is said due to the strong magnetism of the ground which drove the compasses crazy). Then we will arrive at the capital Sal Rei, a former salt export center, the old port is very interesting, dotted with colorful boats. Opposite is Ilheu de Sal Rei, the islet that houses the ruins of a fort built to protect the old village from pirates. In the central square: the Church of S. Isabella, the Municipal Market and various craft shops. MINIMUM 3 PAX
