Parliament Palace is the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon. Its impressive 15.000 cristal chandeliers are amazing. The Arch of Triumph is an important landmark of Bucharest marking the victory of Romanian troops against the Ottoman Empire which gained our freedom and independence.
This was built in 1878 by King Carol 1st of Romania.

Victory Avenue is the first street built in Bucharest by the ruler Constantin Brancoveanu, and today the most important shopping avenue. On this avenue, we have the most important museums and you can discover the Belle Epoque style of the mansions. Bucharest is known as the Little Paris of SE Europe.

Revolution Square is the place where the Romanians started the fight against communists in December 1989. Here we have The Royal Palace of Romania, now The National Art Gallery, The Romanian Atheneum Hall - the biggest concert hall in Bucharest known for the George Enescu Festival, The Central Library of University Carol 1st built in eclectic style, Cretulescu Church built in the 18th century, the former Communist Committee Party building from where Ceausescu fled away by helicopter, The Monument of Rebirth built in the memory of the Romanians which died at the revolution from 1989.
