About this experience

Enjoy Athens and experience the glorious monuments of this historical city where Democracy was born. You will visit the Panathenaic Stadium (the only marble stadium in the world!) where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, the Zappion Congress and Exhibitions center, the Temple of Zeus (one of the biggest temples in history) and Hadrian’ s Gate. The “Sacred Rock”, the Acropolis of Athens (perfection in architecture), you will admire the theater of Dionysus (first theater of the world), the Odeon of Herod the Atticus, the Hill of Pnyx, you will visit the Propylaea, the Temple of Apteros Nike, the Erechthion and the New Acropolis Museum.
From Lycabettus hill, you will see a panoramic view of the city. After we visit the Parliament to see the changing of Royal guards, the Open Flea Market, the area of Plaka, the former Royal Palace, the Numismatic Museum (H. Schliemann’s Residence), Academy of Arts and Sciences, the University, the National Library.
