Stop 1

The meeting is at 11.00am at the Buda Side Clark Adam Square next to the Funicular Ticket Office.
Buda Castle is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest.It was rebuilt, extended, changed, burned down and rebuilt again several times over and it got its current eclectic appearances only after World War II. Learn about its history from our professional guide.

Stop 2

The Halászbástya or Fisherman's Bastion is one of the best known monuments in Budapest, located in the Buda Castle, in the 1st district of Budapest. The terrace provides one of the most famous panoramic views of the Danube, Margaret Island, Pest and the Gellért Hill.

The highlight of the tour is Matthias Church with its abundantly decorated roof. The church is a very finely executed Neogothic reconstruction fantasy from the end of the 19th century and it is a beautiful building.

Matthias Fountain is a monumental fountain group in the western forecourt of Buda Castle, Budapest. Alajos Stróbl’s Neo-Baroque masterpiece is one of the most frequently photographed landmark in the Hungarian capital. It is sometimes called the ’Trevi Fountain of Budapest’.

The Sandor Palace is the official residence of the President of Hungary, and the seat of the Office of the President. It has served as both since 2003. The original palace was build in Neoclassical style in 1806.

The Daytime cruise starts at 02.00pm the Vigadó Square Pest side, Dock Nr 7, Legenda Cruises.

If you choose to stop on the Margaret Island during your cruise, the boat returns back to Budapest center from Margaret Island at 04.20pm.
