Ait Benhaddou is an interesting day trip from Marrakech after you cross the High Atlas Mountains. Ait Benhaddou is the UNESCO site classified since 1987, where few families are still living there. Along the way, you will admire the Berber villages in the mountains of High Atlas village. 4km of rocky off-road along the salty valley of Ounila to get to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a natural decoration for many movies that were filmed in the area.
Take a walk and cross the dried river with our local driver/guide to dominate the kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou. You will be invited for tea with one of the families.
We explore the city. Ouarzazate is a city south of Morocco’s High Atlas mountains, known as a gateway to the Sahara Desert. You may feed a local camels. This an amazing experience.
