Piazza Cavour is the main square of Como with a beautiful view of the Lake. Since ever it's a meeting place for Como's people. In the past centuries it was the port of the city.

2

The lively square is dedicated to a very important inhabitant of Como: Alessandro Volta who invented the battery in 1799.

3

A very special street that takes us back to far centuries, here the time has stopped, it's the heart of the ancient medieval town, its atmosphere is really unique

4

During our walk I'll take you to discover this wonderful artwork, its interiors show us different artistic styles from the late XIV to the late XVII century. Its facade is a refined white marble lace which wants to tell us something and I'll tell you everything about it!

5

A small space surrounded by meaningful buildings, a point to embrace a kind of architectural evolution.

6

The elegant Vittorio Emanuele II Street, the main shopping street

7

A small, cozy square another important place of the historical center, picturesque with its ancient facades and the Church of Saint Fedele that was the Cathedral for a longtime.

An imposing tower in grey stone that in the Middle Ages was the main gate to the city. The Medieval Walls that used to completely surround, close and protect Como.
