The tour will start with a visit to Antonella’s diary where she will show you her farm with cows and goats that produce the milk to make delicious cheeses. You will learn the production chain from milk to cheese, you will visit the production laboratory and the seasoning room. At the end Antonella will prepare a small buffet where you will taste her cheese and other products of the local area such as bread made with organic wheat, honey, biological vegetables and other products.
We’ll continue our journey to the enchanting Colli Euganei (Euganean Hills), a protected regional park known for its breathtaking landscapes and countless vineyards.
Our destination is Villa dei Vescovi, one of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in the region. You’ll have time to explore the villa at your own pace, dive into Italian history and art, sip a glass of wine or an aperitif under the “portico” adorned with its original “affresco,” and take in the astonishing panorama.
Departing from Villa dei Vescovi we will head to a local olive oil mill where the family of Paolo and Pierangela will show you the laboratory where they produce the oil with local olives and they will explain you all the process to get an excellent Italian olive oil. At the end you will have an oil tasting so that you will be able to distinguish the different qualities of oil. Here you can buy and order your favourite Italian olive oil.
Our last stop is Galzignano where we will chill out at the thermal baths and you will relax in the hot waters coming out from 3000-meters deep springs. You can choose to soak up in the therapeutic waters of the pools, steam up in the sauna or simply rest on sunbeds, surrounded by a green golf court, sipping a drink while admiring the hills.
