We will travel beautiful roads to the top of the Poas Volcano, located about 90 minutes from the capital. We will see coffee, flower and strawberry plantations along the way. A short stop will be made a coffee plantation and coffee shop

Once at the National Park, a short walk will take you to the summit of the Volcano and main crater, where you will have free time for take amazing pictures.

Following the visit to the volcano, you will continue to La Paz Waterfalls Gardens. On arrival, enjoy the park attractions with our naturalist tour guide. Explore the multiple animals exhibits including sloths, monkeys, jaguars, butterflies, snakes and more. Take the nature walk to the 5 waterfalls and enjoy the magnificence of this pristine rainforest.

The Poás Volcano, is an active 2,708-metre stratovolcano in central Costa Rica and is located within Poas Volcano National Park. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April 2017 when visitors and residents were evacuated. It is active and has one of the largest craters in the world. Know this colossus without traveling long distances.
Not only has one of the largest craters in the world, but is located in the forests of Central Mountain Range, which boasts magnificent natural landscapes: this is the Poas Volcano National Park. Being located in the province of Alajuela, it offers visitors easy access from major cities of the country.
