12:00 - 13:30 Lunch time in Épernay. You can spent time of your own or we can make a restaurant reservation for You. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne surrounded by the wine hills it is Home to many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for wine and champagne lovers. Walking along the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.
13:30: Departure to Hautvillers village. It takes 10 minutes (6 km)
13:40 - 14:10 Visit the Abbey's Church of Saint-Sindulphe of the Abbey Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers. It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
