The Jungfraujoch is also called "Top of Europe", because this building is located in the heart of Europe and from here you can see all mountains. Behind the Jungfraujoch is the big Aletsch Glacier and can be seen very well from the helicopter cockpit. A fantastic view to the south opens up when flying over this mountain range.
The Schilthorn is a historical mountain. Many international films have been filmed at the summit, including "007 James Bond". During the overflight you can see the tourist terrace and the mountain restaurant very well from the helicopter. A gold cable car leads to Lauterbrunnen, which takes millions of people up every year. In a private helicopter flight there is no crowd and a much better view of the surrounding mountains.
With the helicopter you fly past the Eiger north face. It is impressive to see how the vertical rock is covered in eternal snow. The peak is over 4'000m high and the mountain is covered with glacier on the left and right. A spectacular view can be seen from the cockpit on this mountain and the Grindelwald valley below.
The sightseeing flight will fly over the city of Interlaken. The name of this place is given because it lies between the two lakes (Lake Thun and Lake Brienz). From above you can have a very good view of both lakes and the villages around them.
Lake Thun has a special colour. The turquoise water is unique because the lake is filled by glacier water that has been stored in the mountains for millions of years. A play of colours that can only be seen very well from the air.
Lake Brienz is a very cold lake, as only glacier water flows into it. From above, one sees the special colour and one has the overview from Brienz to Interlaken. The lake is surrounded by steep walls, which are flown over by helicopter.
We operate from the Bern-Belp airport and are situated in the hangar 7. Car parking No. P5 or P4 are right in front of the building and well signed!
At the Mountainflyers Helicopter meeting point (Hangar 7), show us the ticket and your group will have access to the helicopter.
