What you'll see

Please keep in mind the following important details about ebike reservations:

1. The start times for ebike reservations are precise. You must arrive at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center, located at 25 Visitor Center Road in Bar Harbor, 15 minutes before the listed start time for an ebike lesson and orientation to the park.

2. If you finish your ride early, please use the bike lock provided to secure the e-bikes in the approved location we show you as part of your lesson.

3. The mileage range for ebikes varies according to the route taken, the pedaling effort applied and the rider's weight. As part of your lesson, you will be shown how to manage and monitor range. Most riders get between 30 and 50 miles.

4. You are allowed to ride the ebike anywhere in Acadia National Park or in the Bar Harbor area as long as a pedal bike is allowed in the area. Bicycle use is prohibited on hiking trails.

5. If you are renting from us and arriving by cruise ship, you are responsible for transportation from the cruise ship to the Hulls Cove Visitor Center. The distance is approximately 2.5 miles, so please reserve your transportation in advance or use the Island Explorer bus service when available. We highly recommend Cadillac Mtn. Shuttle (book in advance) for taxi services.
