About this experience

This is an extensive tour of Budapest with your private professional guide. You will be picked up at your Budapest accommodation by car and your driver/guide will take you to the must see places of Buda and Pest this way avoiding public transport and the crowd of the city.
You will head to the elegant Castle District on the Buda side where you will be able to enjoy the fantastic panorama of this unique city. This place has the most prominent buildings of Buda such as the Buda Castle and the Matthies Church. After a few hours spent here your guide will take you to the other side of the city, the Pest side, crossing the mighty River Danube and arriving to the City Park. Stop 1

The Royal Court moved here in the 15 th century under the rule of King Matthias.
Buda became Europe's most influencal cities. The turks invaded the Castle in 1541 and ruled until 1686.
The Palace includes two museums today the Hungarian National Gallery and the Castle Museum.

Stop 2

Beautiful, extensive and draw dropping church in the middle of the elegant castle Square built in 1255 during the reign of King Bell IV. This made it the first church of Buda.
It is a masterpiece of the Hungarian Gothic art where medieval kings came for mass.
