About this experience

This will be a pleasant walking tour with your local, English and German speaking professional tour guide in the historical village of Tihany in a stunning setting on the north shore of Lake Balaton, situated on the Tihany Peninsula.

This tour is great if you wish to get to know more of the area and grasp more of its history. The centre of the district is the Benedictine Abbey, which was founded in 1055 AD by Andrew I, who is buried in the crypt. There are also many traditional, pottery and crafts museum where you will be able to go in with your guide, all included in the price of this private tour.
