La Fornace is one of the smallest wineries in Montalcino; a mother, father and son are in charge of the production (Rosso, Brunello…)! You will have a chance to visit their cellars and witness the production of the Blazon Wine. Here you will get a glimpse of what happens when quality takes over quantity!

Stop 2

Montalcino is a jewel of art and history immersed in the hills of Val d’Orcia.
This medieval town immediately reveals to the visitor its ancient military structure, crossed as it is by narrow and steep streets that offer extraordinary views.
Montalcino is also known as the village of Brunello.
Here we will have some time to visit the medieval town.

With the visit of the medieval town of Montalcino we will stop for lunch in one of the most well-stocked wine shops in the city "Enoteca Grotta del Brunello" lunch will be accompanied by your choice of many Brunello labels.

Weather permitting we will be able to visit a fortress that has now become a beautiful wine shop.

Cacuci is an all-female, family-run company which produces only around 40 thousand bottles a year! Located northeast of Montalcino, it is influenced by its own micro climate. You will visit the cellars and the production of their wine and as well as their extra virgin olive oil.

Upon request, during the reservation we can organize lunch in wine cellars or on farms, this is a highly recommended experience, especially for wine lovers. (They also offer vegetarian and gluten-free lunches, and accommodate allergies. Upon request 24hrs before the tour).
